Everything is not up to you - So you might need to detox every once in a while!

The problem that I keep constantly hearing is that people are complaining about the pollution, and what it is doing to their healt - this is something that you can't really avoid, but you have to live with the fact that all these chemicals are pumped in our food on a regular basis. Many of them are consentrating on our adipose tissue and from there they could cause multiple conditions. Heck there was even a study where 50 year old men were tested, and as their fat was analyzed it showed that they had traces of a herbicide that was banned more than twenty years ago! So they were carrying it around all this time. So what does this have to do with detox?

Well in most cases a quick one day detox is not going to be enough. You can get rid of toxins that are in your fat mass by doing this. But what you can do is get rid of liver toxins, kidney toxins and even chemicals that aren't moving in your instestines. Is this all you need?

No it is not. What you need to do is lose some weight at frequent intervals. Studies show that people who eat a little less than they burn, are healthier and live longer. They are constantly using their bodyfat for energy - just like it is meant to be used. They are detoxifying their bodies on their own, without doing a "cleanse". If you let the problem get too big, and lose weight quickly, you are bound to face problems - this is because the levels of the toxins concentrated in your body will be releaced in your bloodstream and your liver might even fail. I won't even mention the nerve damage that can be caused by this.

So what is the point of this post? Even if you can't control the pollution, you can control what your body is doing with it - you can choose to store it, or you can choose to lose weight and stay slim. That way you are going to be able to maintain a healthy body, and a healthy mind! Stop worrying about it!
